A lightly toned Stater from Lokris Opiuntii struck in high relief

LOKRIS. Lokris Opuntii. Circa 350-340 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 12.00 g, 6 h). Head of Demeter to left, wearing wreath of wheat leaves, triple pendant earring and simple pearl necklace. Rev. OΠON-TIΩN Ajax advancing to right, nude but for his helmet, holding sword in his right hand and shield ornamented with a coiled serpent on the inside in his left; on ground, broken spear. BCD Lokris 41 (same dies). Humphris & Delbridge Group 10, 108e (this coin, O18/R34). Lightly toned and struck in high relief. Tiny marks and with light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
